Swashbucklers hits 70, Maat takes a beating

Yay for us! The majority of the static recently hit 70, and it finally came time for us to make our Maat Macros!

We decided to take a week off from xping to get this and other things done, but most of us ended up getting back together to take on Maat as a group.
For me at least, knowing that Shark, Shari, and Dave were there in the party with me and had to go through the same thing (almost the same thing.. crazy thf) helped immensely. We were all pretty nervous, and were prepared as we could've been. Shari and I /random'd it out and he went up first. Three minutes later, he was a Maat Masher. It took me a bit longer than three minutes, but I managed the same result even with all the macro fumbling. Luck was on Shark's side and his fight only lasted about 30 seconds.

And Dave.. Well.. we got pretty good at getting those Magic Pots to drop test's didn't we? :D That's what he gets for being so damn overpowered!

I will probably never be refreshed again. :P

PvP in FFXI? Yes please!

Another good thing that happened tonight was that we finally finished ZM8 and moved on to ZM(something). We'll finish up the last missions on Tuesday and will be able to go on up to the sky, yay!

Back to XP, you scurvy dogs!

After a two week hiatus we are back to xping again. Finally. Although there weren't many nights where we had nothing to do. We finished off Rank 6 (and Rank 7 for windurstians :P You guys should've switched!), killed a couple AF3 NM's, Steelfleece x2, Yagudo High Priest, Coffer keys, Coffer keys, Coffer keys, and did some random quests. All of this and Shari is still thinking up new ways for us to die.

Our new xp schedule looks a lot like our old xp schedule, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, 7:30pm PST - 11ishPST. If you're going to not be able to make it, be nice and tell us a day or two in advance so we don't kill you.

PS: Dyn caught up! He's 60 now! hurray!

Update Regarding Tonight

Hi-ho party people. I've moved Sleepga II to *Friday*. Tonight, I'll help anyone get set up to go on a Sleepga II run -- you have some quests that must get done before you can get the Sleepga II quest. This scroll is worth over 180k on the AH, and so, I encourage you to come along. So, I'll be on early tonight and Friday from 9-11 Eastern to help people do precursor stuff done in order to get Sleepga II activated. After 11, it's Lowbie Static time for any who wish to join -- we do have a tank from outside the static (he/she seems pretty cool, Serume I believe), so it's first-come, first-served to party up. Thank you.

Monday 10/18/04 -- Mission 5-2 -- Meet around 7-8pst
(If the crazy Bastokans do not have the mission ready this time, there will be hell to pay)

Tuesday 10/19/04 -- Lowbie static, possible sleepga 2 quest nm killing
(Shari just pulled this out today)

Wednesday 10/20/04 -- Continuation of BCNM40 from last weekend

Thursday 10/21/04 -- Off day (Shark and Skell's Lowbie static goodness)

Friday 10/22/04 -- ??? Not even I remember what we're doing this day.

Other things that need to be done eventually:
Sharkky's NM Hat fight
Coffer keys in Castle ZB for Skell and Monastic for Shari (Dyn gets none!)
AF3 fights for all!

Hello! We'd like to welcome Davenger into our static and linkshell. Davenger (he says it's okay if you call him Dave, even though that's not his name) is a 56 Rdm/Blm with a penchant for meleeing, but we forgive him for that because he's still able to keep us all refreshed and alive. Also, so far he hasn't trained anything on Shari and had him killed in order to prove a point. This is a good thing.

We are actively looking for a new WHM (or maybe a healing RDM?) for our 54-55 static party.
